Rhodes grass hay
Fine-cut, palatable and highly digestible grass hay for dairy herds, horses, camels, sheep and goats. Baled in Pakistan and shipped from Karachi.
Grass hay that animals eat up
Rhodes grass (Chloris gayana) is a fine-stemmed tropical grass that is cut at the right stage, sun-dried and pressed into bales. It is the same species behind the Boma and Katambora varieties grown in Kenya and Australia.
Our fine grade is soft, leafy and low in dust. With 9–12% crude protein it sits between low-protein wheat straw and high-protein alfalfa, which makes it a staple forage for dairy cows, horses, camels, sheep and goats in hot climates.
Why buyers choose our Rhodes grass
- Fine, leafy texture that animals eat with little waste
- Tested for moisture, protein and mould on every lot
- Low dust for horses and animals with sensitive airways
- High-density bales that stay sound through sea transit
- Steady supply through the year from partner farms
We sell Rhodes grass hay, not Rhodes grass seed.
